Pro cards are the officially licensed digital player cards at the heart of Sorare MLB. They are fully owned by you and can be freely traded on the Sorare marketplace.
Pro cards come in four scarcity levels. Each scarcity unlocks different competitions and reward tiers:
- 🟨 Limited: 1,000 cards per player per season. The entry point into Pro competitions.
- 🟥 Rare: 100 cards per player per season.
- 🟦 Super Rare: 10 cards per player per season.
- ⬛ Unique: 1 card per player per season — the only one of its kind in the world.
The rarer the card, the greater its earning potential and competitive advantages. In-Season Unique cards deliver 60% more rewards than Super Rare counterparts in In-Season Leaderboards every single Game Week.
In-Season vs. Classic cards
A card is In-Season when its season matches the current MLB season. In-Season cards unlock the highest-reward competitions and carry a +5% in-season bonus. Once a season ends, a card becomes Classic and retains full utility in Classic competitions.
Early Access cards
At the start of each season, Early Access editions are released before Opening Day to allow Managers to build their rosters ahead of Game Week 1. Each Early Access card carries a 10% probability of becoming a Special Edition. See the Early Access Cards section for full details.
