You have two options to buy cards. You can either buy:

  • New Cards: they are available to buy in the New Signings through auctions. They are issued by Sorare. You can buy single cards or a bundle of cards.
  • Existing Cards: they are available to buy in the Transfer Market. They are owned by other Managers and were previously issued by Sorare.

Follow these steps to buy New Cards:

➡️ 1. Drag on the “Market” tab. A dropdown will appear. You can either select “Cards”, “Bundles” or “#1 serial” to buy new cards

(note: be quick, if your amount is below the highest bid, you won’t be able to bid). Then, click on “Bid” to place your bid. Make sure you are bidding on the right card (refer to the bottom of the pop-up).

Important precisions on bids:

You can buy cards either through the crypto currency ether or with a credit card.

Bidding on an auction is easy. If another user places a higher bid, you will be re-credited and you will get notified so that you have a chance to place a higher bid. At the end of the auction time, the user with the highest bid wins the auction and the Player Card is transferred to his gallery. Fore more information, click here.

For bids using credit cards, a debit authorization of the corresponding amount is taken on the credit card via the service provider, Stripe. Upon consummation of the auction process, any debit authorizations of participants other than the buyer are canceled.

When you purchase using a credit card:

  • There is no premium or commissions on the new sales.
  • When you buy from another manager, there is a 10% premium on the exchange rate on the existing cards sale (Transfer Market).
