What are pre-set lineups?

:warning: Note: This feature is currently in beta. It introduces a number of new edge cases, and the first few weekends of competition will likely surface scenarios we didn't anticipate. We're committed to addressing these promptly, but lineups will not be resubmitted retroactively. We recommend checking back after each game to confirm whether you've advanced to the next round and need to submit a new lineup

Pre-set lineups let you prepare your lineups for the next step of a Pro board before you get there.

When your current step is validated, the lineups you queued are submitted automatically — so you don't have to be in front of your phone the moment a step completes to keep your run going.

How to queue a lineup

  1. Go to the board and open the next step.
  2. Tap Queue New Lineup.
  3. Compose your lineup as usual and submit it.
  4. Your lineup appears in your queue, ready for when you reach that step.

You can queue a lineup only once you have at least one lineup submitted in your current step.

Which step does a queued lineup apply to?

Only the next step. Not the step you're currently playing, and not any step beyond the next one.

Once you reach the next step and your queue is submitted, you can start queueing again for the step after it.

When are queued lineups submitted?

They are submitted automatically as soon as your current step is validated, in the order you set.

If you have more approved lineups than you have lives available on the next step, the extra lineups are not submitted.

Why was my queued lineup not submitted?

A queued lineup is only valid if none of the games of its players have started yet at the moment your step is validated, and none of its cards are already used in a lineup you've submitted, whether in Pro or Arena.

Each card in a queued lineup targets that player's next upcoming game at the time you compose it. If that game has already kicked off by the time you move to the next step, the lineup is refused

Other reasons a queued lineup can be refused:

  • You no longer own one of the cards (sold, or transferred).
  • One of the cards was listed on the market — listing a card removes it from any queued lineup.
  • The lineup no longer meets the board's entry rules (eligibility, scarcity, budget).

Every submission — successful or refused — is recorded in your queue history, with the time it was processed and the reason if it failed.

Priority and order

Queued lineups are submitted in the order shown in your queue. Drag and drop to reorder them, and use the X to remove one.

Put your strongest lineup first: if only some of your queued lineups can be submitted, the ones at the top go through first.

What happens to my cards while they're queued?

Queuing a lineup doesn't reserve your cards. They stay fully available: they don't show as "Used in Pro" or "Used in Arena", and you can still play them in any other lineup while the queued one waits.

If you do play a card elsewhere, it's removed from the queued lineup and you'll need to fill the empty slot before that lineup can be submitted.

Can I edit a queued lineup?

Yes. You can edit, reorder or delete any queued lineup right up until it is submitted.
