- As a user based in France, do I have access to cash rewards?
As a user based in France, you are eligible for monetary rewards (commonly referred to as "cash" rewards).
However, starting May 31, 2026 (GW 84 for Sorare Football, GW 63 for Sorare NBA and GW 20 for Sorare MLB) and in accordance with current regulations (JONUM), monetary rewards offered in Sorare Pro competitions can no longer be paid out in legal tender (euros, dollars or pounds sterling). They will be paid exclusively in cryptocurrency, for the equivalent amount, in the form of Ether (ETH) or Solana (SOL), according to your preferences.
- Are cash rewards capped?
Yes, your cash rewards (paid exclusively in cryptocurrency, for the equivalent amount) are capped at €25,000 per calendar year.
If you reach the cap for the current calendar year, you will still be able to earn alternative rewards until your cap resets on January 1st of the following year.
- What about other types of rewards (cards, Essence, XP, etc.)?
Users based in France are eligible, under the same conditions as users from the rest of the world, for all other types of rewards: Cards, Essence, XP, Market Credits, physical rewards (exclusive experiences, match tickets, jerseys, merchandise), etc.
Only your physical rewards (exclusive experiences, match tickets, jerseys, merchandise, etc.) are capped at €1,000 per calendar year.
In practice, this cap will have no impact on users. It is assessed according to specific rules applicable to this type of reward, particularly when they are part of partnerships, and does not affect access to the experiences currently offered.
- Does JONUM impact the global reward structure Sorare 27 will offer?
JONUM does not change any of the other rewards planned for Sorare 27: cards, Essence, XP, market credits, tickets, experiences and other benefits will continue to be distributed exactly as they are today. Based on our analysis and data, the announced reward caps will have no significant impact on either the gameplay experience, in France or internationally. Marketplace activity falls outside the scope of JONUM and remains unchanged: users can continue to use the Cash Wallet for buying and selling cards without restrictions.
- As a Manager based in France, can I still sell my cards to receive euros in my Cash Wallet and withdraw them to my bank account?
Yes, you can still sell your cards for euros and withdraw them to your bank account.
- Is the money I make from selling cards on the market subject to a cap?
No, caps only apply to rewards distributed in Sorare Pro competitions.
- If I win market credits (whether at a 50% or 100% discount), does it count toward my cash rewards cap?
No, only rewards distributed in crypto-assets (Ether or SOL) in Sorare Pro competitions are counted toward the cap calculation.
