1. What is the account verification process?

In accordance with the JONUM regulation, players located in France must undergo an account verification process.

This process is designed to provide a safe, responsible gaming experience that complies with the regulatory requirements applicable to games with monetizable digital objects (JONUM).

 

  1. Is account verification mandatory?

Account verification is only mandatory if you play from France for participation in JONUM competitions. As a reminder, a Sorare Competition is governed by the JONUM regulation if it offers, as a main reward, monetizable digital objects (including collectible cards of Limited, Rare, Super Rare, or Unique rarity) and/or, as a secondary reward, cryptocurrencies (Ether or SOL) or other physical rewards (match tickets, jerseys, etc.).

 

  1. How do I verify my account?

The account verification process is mandatory for players participating in a JONUM Competition from France, and includes:

  • Setting Gaming Limits, and
  • An identity verification that must be completed within 30 days (only for players who have not already verified their identity through the Mangopay Cash Wallet)

During this 30-day period, you can continue to play but any rewards in cards and cryptocurrencies (Ether or SOL) will be suspended until your identity is verified. Other rewards will be granted to you.

This account verification process will be automatically triggered if you are located in France at the time of submitting a Team in a JONUM competition. If you haven't already done so, you can also trigger it at any time from the "My Account" page.
