Sorare Football gameplay is organized around three game modes: Arcade, Pro, and Arena. The mode you play determines how you enter competitions, how scoring works, and how rewards are distributed.
Arcade
Arcade is the casual, collection-based game mode (previously known as Sorare Set). You build squads, complete missions, and progress through Game Boards at your own pace. A new Arcade Set is released every few months.
Pro
Pro is where you play Hot Streaks: you compete against fixed scoring targets rather than other Managers, climbing steps on a board over the course of a Game Week. See What is Pro Mode? How do Hot Streaks work? for the full rules.
Arena
Arena groups every Player-vs-Player leaderboard format: In-Season Arenas, Classic Arenas, and Arena Rooms. See What is Arena Mode? How does it work? for the full rules.
Lineup rules across modes
- In Pro and In-Season Arena, In-Season lineups require a minimum of 4 In-Season cards and a maximum of 1 Classic card.
- In Super Rare & Unique In-Season lineups, up to 2 Classic cards are allowed: 2 Unique Classics, or 1 Unique Classic + 1 Super Rare Classic, or 1 Super Rare Classic alone.
- A card played in a Pro lineup for a given match cannot also be used in an Arena lineup for that same match, and vice versa.
